I’ve noticed birds trying to fly across the road as fast as they can before the car reaches them. 9/10 they will barely make it across the road. That got me thinking… Is a bird faster in the sky at a higher altitude or closer to the ground? (as in two inches from the ground) I know there are a lot of factors such as altitude, atmospheric pressure, speed, species of birds, weight, Bird’s wingspans, humidity, temperature, etc. but is there a way to control most of the factors to know for sure?
Also how many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop? Is there a scientific way to know that?
