25.09.2024forgive my ignorance, but how is anyone impressed by this? The graphic looks so bad, it's difficult to look at. people should just stick to the console or pc version.
@TowDow3
25.09.2024this looks like a ps3 game. LOL
@sleepymonsteraddict
25.09.2024While it looks horrible from a pc standpoint, this is very impressive work from the team. I did not expect for this to actually be functional on the switch. This game can make my pc sound like an airplane when its only at medium settings (my pc is rather new and performs on ultra quality on most recent games) , so taking that info into account makes it impressive that this game can run at all on a switch. The team clearly wanted to bring this game to folks who aren't blessed with a high end pc or console (younger fans for example) and that's amazing. if I did not have a pc, i would buy it on switch for sure.
@chaoLirath
25.09.2024Looks like a dreamcast game.
@aaroncash9561
25.09.2024Deal breaker
@IDrawToothpicks
25.09.2024Its GORGEOUS on ps5. Amazing. I highly recommend playing this docked on switch
P.s. I'm looking to still get it on switch just for portability, if I had the money I would get the playstation portal but not until its on a huge sale. So don't let my views deter you from getting it on switch!
Not everyone can get it on PC (requires 16 ram at least for it to run very well which I don't have yet) or console off the bat! If you love the world of Harry Potter nothing should stop you. Highly recommend getting it now while it's on sale ❤
If it's possible at all, get it on pc or console before switch. If not possible, get the switch sale!
@justadjie
25.09.2024Can’t wait to play this on the Switch!
@magster823
25.09.2024I dont understand why this game even was ported to Switch . They should have waited for their new hardware in 2025
@ufcmma8046
25.09.2024How are people playing like this?
@MikeMessiah
25.09.2024Dont forget , Nintendo Switch uses the NVIDIA Tegra X1 , a 20nm CPU which is 7 years old.
@chanceForNotBeingRapper
23.09.2024I heard that to fix the blurry issue all you had to do is to restart the game
The Dynamic Resolution Scaling is the ones to blame, but for Switch it is always a hard job. They may tried hard, the prelude still appears to be amazing because it's mostly cinematic interactive things, but down to the gameplay, it is hard to ignore low res shadows and outdoor areas with fewer things rendering (decreased LoD)
@funkyflights
23.09.2024Still cool to have it in the go.. This game needs to expand on what it created, looking forward to the next version
@mabohamda1116
23.09.2024Does it work on nintendo switch lite?
@steivene2hot915
23.09.2024seems decent from Nintendo Switch..
@MiguelLopes-nr5nt
23.09.2024THIS is exacly what portable gaming was aiming to be some years ago, I remember when the psvita came out I was so mad it couldnt play gta 5 at the time gta 5 was to demanding even for the ps3, but this is art, you can cry all you want about the graphics, but you being able to play this hole game on the go, I mean this is just big balls enerdgy
@ericknyoto3806
23.09.2024Graphic looks like PS2 the the end of lifecycle.
@Mr.NorthEast
23.09.2024Thank you for this video I will be buying this game on the switch
@ookiiokonomiyaki
23.09.2024Those shaky edges and hair are worse than games had back in 2000. I'd stand simple gfx. I was there 25 years ago. However, all the shimmering is hurting my eyes.
@Yagami_Leon
23.09.2024if Nintendo switch can run Hogwarts legacy
it can run all ps4 games
cmon Nintendo do something please! 🥺
@netweed09
23.09.2024I absolutely Love this game as do seemingly many others. But I have to regrettably say , yeah, they really should have delayed it until the Switch 2 comes out it would have done this Masterpiece so much more justice. It is a Wizards game with wonderful scenery so it does also rely on visual impact quite a lot more than a Stylised game that can compromise visual fidelity. It reminds me of Twilight Princess HD: a system too early!
@tommy6742
21.09.2024It looks like dogshit on the Switch….I thought we had moved away from PS2 era graphics….
@rubensantos3489
21.09.2024hello there im bit late to the party but would the OLED play better than the "classic" one? its a honest question cuz i've been on the fence to buy this game for a long time and since i only have the switch and my computer doesnt even open the game to begin with…and i really wanna play this game badly
@abdulsahid5957
21.09.2024so it just look like the witcher 3 on the switch right
@yowdel
21.09.2024Does the graphic change when you connect it to a monitor or a TV?
@mariquesalexander5190
21.09.2024Is it worth picking up ….being that I never played
@stevopotato
21.09.2024Great review, thanks very much 🖤
@jamv2122
21.09.2024honestly if nintendo just allowed developers to tweak the switches clocks it probly run better
@ArtyCollectz
21.09.2024I see the lighting engine taking a hit but to me, the Switch looks a lot cozier and warmer compared to the PC which seems a lot colder and less cozier.
@jimmy-rm3cl
21.09.2024Its fine on switch lite small 720 screen yall need to chill
@JB93421
21.09.2024This game is an absolute mess on nintendo switch especially in handheld mode graphics are vile and frame rate is diabolical give it a miss on switch 💯😔
@Rams7810
20.09.2024for me its okay, because i used to play on low end pc's 😂😂
@RuubRoyce
20.09.2024Far more advanced and technical superior systems seem to lack all the colour and look as bland as sepia, (which seems to be the boring norm nowadays), even though they have a much wider more dynamic range to choose from. You can ray trace all you want, but with a small colour palette it will make little difference to the visual scope. I hate how everything looks pale nowadays in games and movies. It's depressing.
@dungeonsdumbbells
20.09.2024Some of the best games I've played were based on movies. The Blade for Ps1 was one of my favorites, & Merry Shelly's Frankenstein for Sega Genesis. This one looks like it'll be my 3rd fav. 📦
@ScottB0107
20.09.2024Looks good enough but $60? Too bad it isn’t $30.
@mauriciofreitas9439
20.09.2024Harry Potter? Aff
@RONARS
20.09.2024Well if you only have a Switch to play, then you don't have to worry about comparing it to the other consoles. 😅.
@yoezzy1211
20.09.2024This looks a lot like how the harry potter PS3 games did
@ThatGuyX2
20.09.2024I played this on release on steam deck. Dont have the deck anymore. If i got it on switch would it be a similar experience?
@Mike-h3m
20.09.2024For people like me who only have a switch this is just perfect 👌🏼
@chriswyatt9869
20.09.2024Porting big games to a handled device that’s hardware is years old is no easy task. Kudos to them. That said I still feel like games like this should be played on actual consoles/PC, but if you don’t have access to it, this is a pretty good going
@terryglover3215
18.09.2024For it to be on the Switch, you expect the graphics to take a hit, but it's amazing they were still able to port the game. Let's see Starfield on the Switch now!
@Saif0412
18.09.2024Looks terrible and performs terrible in the Switch. This is a example of when porting went too far on the Switch which simply cannot handle.
@jamesjameson5271
18.09.2024Right now it's $18 on the eShop
@remedy334
18.09.2024What do you mean by wait for revisions for the cart?? Like them release the game in stores with a new cart?
@erq1971
18.09.2024Not on any other console so visual don’t bother me as long as game is good.
@pimpnamedkane
18.09.2024I recently bought it and it’s not that bad honestly. It’s not the best obviously but for what it is it’s amazing. I would have not been mad or annoyed if they changed the graphics a bit or anything to make the game run smoothly like the other consoles.
@jshcarmonakc
18.09.2024I like everything about the game except the graphics, it looks horrible in some certain parts. Like things will blend in and look unclear or not detailed, or the characters' bodies and faces are blurry. Other games on the switch look good like zelda, but why not hogwarts. It's still worth the play, but I'm more into clarity and great graphics. 😢
@HigkeyRegarded007
18.09.2024This game is currently on sale in the Nintendo store for $17! Ends on 9/16/2024! Totally enjoying it and so is my wallet!
@AmmaarNoorAlladin
18.09.2024It looks great for a switch games
@SwitchUpYt
18.09.2024Update: For those who asked, broom flying is actually not terrible! I thought it may cripple the game but while it dips a little it's not too bad.
This is probably the most work I have ever put in to a performance video – I do hope it is of use to you. Let me know! Mark
